Louisville, KY (USA) (April 15th, 2008) - Texas Roadhouse Cycling races in four different States while scoring some impressive wins.

Texas Roadhouse rider John Puffer out sprinted a strong field of racers in the “Kentuckiana Spring Training Series” Saturday April 12th to keep a winning streak alive. In the six races that have been run of the series Texas Roadhouse has stood atop of the rostrum five time. The only occasion the team did not was April 5th, when the riders were together attending the Team Launch and were unable to attend the meet in Owensboro, KY. In the championship points standing Texas Roadhouse leads the way.

In Ohio Texas Roadhouse rider Kirk Albers scored a win on a cold and blustery day. A group of seven went clear with Kirk taking a group sprint to the line. The Lynchburg Road Race was the third event in the Ohio Valley Racing Series. With a win and two second place finished Kirk leads the points in that series.

Texas Roadhouse Cycling’s Chad Burdzilauskas was in Florida over the weekend and had a go in a field sprint to finish within half a bike length taking second in a 60 minute plus 5 Criterium.

Meanwhile in Chattanooga, TN facing a stacked field of riders from Jittery Joe’s, Toshiba, BMC and more, Texas Roadhouse ace Dirk Pohlmann scored 8th in the Saturday morning Time Trial hoping to improve his position in the Saturday evening criterium. Dirk was able to grab one of the time primes and move up a bit on GC. Sunday brought a 90 mile road race to complete the two day stage race. Pohlmann was riding in a group of four chasing a break when disaster stuck. Dirk was struck by another rider and went down at 27 mph. He would pick his bike up and completed the race uninjured but lost over a minute ending his quest for a podium finish.

Additionally Texas Roadhouse Cycling supported rider Tracy Tolson won the women's race at the Kentuckiana Spring Training Series to lead that championship as well.

Texas Roadhouse Cycling and all of it’s sponsors were well represented last weekend with a strong presence and great results.
