Raleigh, NC (March 2, 2008) - The first round of the Kentucky Spring Training Series was dominated by Texas Roadhouse Cycling!
On March 1st, 2008 Texas Roadhouse Cycling's Dirk Pohlmann and Tracy Tolson took the top spot on the podium in each of their races at the L'Esprit Road Race which kicked off the season for the Kentucky Spring Training Series. Dirk Pohlmann won the Men's Cat 1/2/3 with Texas Roadhouse Cycling teammate Chad Burdzilauskas right behind in second. The race was 54 miles in length and as described on the website "...is a 9-mile loop with three corners and rolling hills. The longest climb is gradual approximately 1 mile in length."
Additionally 17 year old racer Rob Bush and teammate John Puffer finished in the points with an awesome seven, eight finish. Other Texas Roadhouse Riders in the field, who worked hard for the team all race long, John Grant (15th) and Curtis Tolson (51st).
Tracy Tolson continued her winning ways in 2008 with a victory in the Women's Category.
